本課程為博士班學生的必修課程，主要是協助博士班學生，在還沒有明確的研究領域及方向時，或是有方向卻尚未完成論文計畫書口試前，幫助學生尋從健康照護產業、醫療機構管理的大範圍中，找出有興趣的研究主題與方向，或是修正調整論文計畫之方向與內容。經由文獻的閱讀、報告相互討論與老師的評論，了解學生在基礎知識的了解程度與對於研究設計、統計分析的應用，以及對於文章的評論與批判，以為論文計畫書作好準備。經由從較好的SCISSCI 期刊文章的閱讀與評論，找到可能的研究主軸；對於已經有方向的學生則可以進一步，從文獻的整理，進到研究方法以及論文計畫書等的完成等。
This seminar course is required for all doctoral students. The major purpose is to help doctoral students find research areas from health industry, health care organization management if they do not decide their concentration. If students have preliminary direction and prepare for research proposal, this course can help them by way of mutual discussion and comments from teachers. Student participation is designed to improve understanding and application in research methods, statistical analysis from SCI/SSCI journals. For those students with given interested area, they can move on to finish or present their research proposal for comments.
